JOB SUMMARY:
Are you a bright, enthusiastic individual with a passion for sales and customer service? We're seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist fluent in English and Arabic, to welcome patients, manage appointments, and ensure smooth clinic operations.
Job responsibilities:
• Welcome patients as they enter the clinic, in a warm and friendly manner
• Translate both in writing and in person, between English and Arabic
• Be passionate about our services, and able to convey the benefits of them to our patients and potential patients
• Make, confirm and move appointments, in person and on the telephone
• Liaise with doctors
• Answer and make phone calls relating to appointments and services, route calls to the correct person and handle complaints
• Explain our price structure, discounts for courses of treatment and take payments
• Make summaries of daily payments
• File and retrieve records, documents and reports
• Responsible for room bookings
• Follow up on calls, messages, mail and emails
• Ordering stationery and office supplies
• Provide general administrative support and other secretarial tasks, as required
Requirements:
• Minimum experience of at least 3 years, preferably as a Medical Receptionist, but other relevant sales and receptionist experience will be considered
• Fluent English and Arabic essential, with excellent written and verbal skills
• Attested degree certificate desirable
• Above average skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must be flexible with working hours and be able to travel between the two clinics locally
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Honest, reliable and detail oriented
• Discrete, with a thorough understanding of confidentiality issues
• Well-groomed appearance
