REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
● University degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent.
● Computer literate, English Fluent, High Negotiation Skills, Contracts analysis, PMP is an Advantage.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Understands contracts, plans and specifications abut construction methods, Delivery timeline.
● Knowledge / Training of Supply Chain Management is an Advantage,/ Negotiation Skills
● 15 Years / at least 8 years relevant work experience in similar position in construction field in K.S.A.
PURPOSE
● To ensure that all the projects requirements are achieved with good quality of work and rock bottom prices
● To supply, provide and coordinate all project requirements as per the Project Plan & Timeline, and priorities requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Handling & and following-up of procurement of operations, projects, Departments.
● Bargaining and negotiation with the subcontractors.
● Coordinates among different secondary stores and main warehouse and projects site.
● Manages the day-to-day activities of the department within the stated policies and objectives of the company.
● Ensures that adequate stocks are maintained at all times and alternative reliable suppliers are always available as a contingency.
● Reviews and regularly monitors the declaration of raw materials are conforming to specifications and approve quantities.
● Develops alternative contingency sources in event/of potential supply problem. Follow all purchase requisitions and orders, Approves it from Dept. Manager
● Negotiate the suppliers to secure the specified materials at the best possible price within the delivery schedule possible.
● Delegates responsible amongst purchasing staff and monitors the flow of work to increase efficiency.
● Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.
● Track inventory and restock goods when needed
● Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the Company/ Projects
INTERNAL / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
● Internally with the HoD, Projects Managers.
● Externally with Suppliers, Subcontractor
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / FEATURES
● Excellent negotiation skills, Excellent Suppliers Data Base in Saudi Arabia
● Work well under pressure, Strategic Planning, Development of Department
