Whats app only- Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager for Maintenance & Cleaning to oversee and coordinate our maintenance and cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. This role involves managing a team, budgeting, scheduling, and liaising with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership:
o Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and cleaning teams.
o Provide training and development for team members.
o Foster a positive and productive work environment.
2. Project Planning:
o Develop and implement maintenance and cleaning schedules.
o Identify and prioritize maintenance projects based on facility needs.
3. Budget Management:
o Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance and cleaning operations.
o Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
4. Quality Assurance:
o Establish and enforce quality standards for maintenance and cleaning activities.
o Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
o Liaise with facility management, vendors, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance and cleaning efforts.
o Report on project progress and outcomes to senior management.
6. Health and Safety Compliance:
o Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations.
o Promote a culture of safety within the team.
7. Problem Solving:
o Address and resolve any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly.
o Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in maintenance and cleaning operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with maintenance management software.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with environmental sustainability practices in maintenance and cleaning.
Working Conditions:
• Full-time position, with occasional overtime as required.
• Some travel may be necessary to oversee multiple locations.
