Role overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to support and enforce Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards across our Facility Management operations in Jafoora, KSA. The role covers janitorial services and lugger bucket waste management activities, ensuring a safe working environment for all field staff, subcontractors, and site visitors in full compliance with Saudi regulatory requirements and client HSE policies.
Key responsibilities
HSE implementation & compliance
Implement, monitor, and enforce the company's HSE management system across all FM operations including janitorial services and lugger bucket waste collection at Jafoora.
Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian HSE regulations, SASO standards, Royal Commission requirements, and client-specific safety policies.
Review and develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS) for all site activities before work commencement.
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and waste management operations to identify and eliminate hazards proactively.
Monitor the safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of waste materials through lugger bucket systems in line with environmental regulations.
Education & experience
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of experience
Proven experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and HSE audits in the field.
A valid Saudi driving license is required.
