Business Development & Sales Manager – Events & Exhibitions

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Sales Manager to lead sales growth and business development activities for our Events & Exhibitions division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, generating leads, securing projects, and achieving sales targets within the exhibition, events, experiential marketing, and fit-out sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the exhibitions, events, conferences, trade shows, and experiential marketing industries.
Generate qualified leads through networking, market research, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event organizers, agencies, corporate brands, and government entities.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure and handover.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial quotations.
Collaborate closely with design, production, and operations teams to develop winning project solutions.
Negotiate contracts and commercial terms to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and regularly report business development activities and forecasts.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the management.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to support business growth.
Represent the company at industry networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum 4+ years of proven experience in business development and sales within the events, exhibitions, fit-out, or related industries.
Strong network within the GCC events and exhibitions sector is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of exhibition stand design & build, event production, and project execution processes.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Valid GCC driving license is an advantage.
