Project Director – Façade & High-Rise Buildings

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Director to lead and manage large-scale façade projects for high-rise and multi-story buildings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of façade systems, project management, construction methodologies, and team leadership. The Project Director will be responsible for ensuring successful project delivery from design coordination through installation and final handover, while maintaining quality, safety, budget, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and oversee multiple façade projects, including high-rise towers and multi-floor commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.

Manage the complete project lifecycle from planning, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and project closeout.

Lead project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Review and approve project schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, local regulations, and industry standards.

Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, main contractors, and clients regarding façade design and technical solutions.

Monitor project progress, quality performance, and safety compliance across all project phases.

Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues affecting project execution.

Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.

Support business development activities, tender reviews, and strategic planning when required.


Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

Minimum 15 years of experience in the façade industry, including significant experience managing high-rise and multi-story building projects.

Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, unitized façades, stick systems, cladding systems, aluminum and glass façades, skylights, and architectural metal works.

Proven experience leading large-scale façade projects from concept to completion.

Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, contract management, and construction methodologies.

Proficiency in project management software and engineering documentation.

Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.


Preferred Skills

PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.

GCC/Middle East façade project experience.

Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

Experience working on iconic towers, skyscrapers, and landmark developments.


Experience

Minimum 15 years of relevant façade industry experience.

Demonstrated success in delivering high-rise tower and complex façade projects.
