Pumps Operation & Maintenance

Perform daily inspection and monitoring of all pumps, including:
Irrigation pumps
Fire fighting pumps (Main, Jockey, and Diesel pumps)
Potable water pumps
Booster pumps VFD

Conduct preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
Identify and rectify pump faults, leaks, abnormal vibrations, and unusual noises.
Replace mechanical seals, bearings, gaskets, and other pump components as required.
Ensure proper operation of pump control panels and associated equipment.

Generator Operation & Maintenance
Operate and monitor diesel generators and associated electrical systems.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of generators.
Check fuel, oil, coolant, batteries, belts, and filters.
Perform preventive maintenance activities.
Ensure automatic transfer switch (ATS) systems are functioning properly.
Maintain generator operational readiness during emergencies and power outages.

Ensure fire fighting systems remain operational and compliant with safety requirements.
Report unsafe conditions and equipment failures immediately.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily inspection and maintenance records.
Update maintenance logs and checklists.
Coordinate with supervisors regarding spare parts and maintenance requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of pumps and diesel generators.
Knowledge of fire fighting systems, water distribution systems, and generator controls.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and electrical diagrams.

Skills Required
Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
Mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
Knowledge of diesel engines and pump systems.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.

Working Conditions
Outdoor and indoor maintenance activities.
Ability to work in shifts
