We are looking for an experienced Ticketing Officer with strong knowledge of the Amadeus reservation system. The candidate will be responsible for flight reservations, ticket issuance, reissuance, refunds, and customer support while ensuring accuracy and excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
Handle domestic and international flight bookings using Amadeus.
Issue, reissue, cancel, and refund airline tickets.
Manage flight reservations and itinerary changes.
Assist customers with travel inquiries and fare quotations.
Coordinate with airlines and travel suppliers regarding bookings.
Ensure compliance with airline rules and company policies.
Maintain accurate booking records and documentation.
Resolve ticketing and reservation issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service and support.
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel agency operations.
Proficiency in Amadeus GDS.
Knowledge of airline fare rules, ticketing procedures, and refunds.
Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
IATA/UFTAA certification is an advantage.
Experience in a travel agency or tourism company.
