Job Summary
The Sales Executive / Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, conducting site visits, preparing proposals, securing projects, and promoting kitchen fire suppression systems, fire safety solutions, and annual maintenance contracts (AMC) within the restaurant, hospitality, commercial, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
* Identify and develop new business opportunities in restaurants, hotels, cafés, cloud kitchens, hospitals, catering companies, food courts, and industrial kitchens.
* Build and maintain relationships with restaurant owners, facility managers, consultants, contractors, and project managers.
* Generate inquiries and convert leads into confirmed sales orders.
* Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Sales Activities
* Conduct regular customer visits and business meetings.
* Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable fire suppression solutions.
* Promote kitchen fire suppression systems, maintenance services, inspections, and compliance solutions.
* Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Site Survey & Customer Assessment
* Conduct preliminary site surveys.
* Gather kitchen equipment details, hood measurements, duct dimensions, and utility requirements.
* Coordinate with the Operations Team for detailed technical assessments where required.
* Ensure accurate information is collected for proposal preparation.
Proposal & Quotation Management
* Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals.
* Follow up with customers on submitted quotations.
* Negotiate commercial terms and secure purchase orders.
* Coordinate project handover to the Operations Department after order confirmation.
Customer Relationship Management
* Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
* Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.
* Identify opportunities for repeat business, upgrades, and additional services.
* Promote Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and recurring service agreements.
Market Intelligence
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
* Gather information on upcoming projects and business opportunities.
* Provide market feedback and customer insights to management.
Reporting
* Submit weekly sales activity reports.
* Maintain customer database and sales records.
* Track quotations, proposals, inquiries, and project status.
* Prepare monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reports.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Engineering, Safety, Marketing, or related discipline.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development or Technical Sales.
* Experience in Fire Protection, Fire Suppression Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, MEP Contracting, HVAC, Kitchen Equipment, Facility Management, or Building Services industries preferred.
