URGENT HIRING – TECHNICAL / TENDERING ENGINEER
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Industry: Construction

A leading construction company in Jeddah is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical / Tendering Engineer to join our team immediately.

Key Responsibilities:
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and client requirements.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for government and private sector projects.
Perform detailed quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation from drawings.
Analyze tender requirements and coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations.
Prepare cost estimates, pricing and bid submissions.
Conduct quantity surveying and cost analysis throughout project stages.
Evaluate project risks and identify value engineering opportunities.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Project Management teams during tendering stages.
Prepare technical submittals, method statements and compliance reports.
Maintain tender records, bid logs and project documentation.
Support project execution teams with technical clarifications after award.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Construction, Tendering, Estimation or Quantity
Surveying.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, estimation and tendering procedures.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and contract documents.
Experience with government and private sector tenders in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and construction standards is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines.

Mandatory Requirements:
Currently residing in Saudi Arabia
Transferable Iqama
Available to join immediately or within a short notice period
Construction industry experience is mandatory

Preferred Candidates:
Experience in infrastructure, commercial, industrial or building construction projects.
Previous experience handling complete tender cycles from inquiry to submission.
Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
