We are looking to hire immediately for our Facilities Management Agent Project in AL AULA.
The role is Civil Engineer (Roads & Infrastructure)
Hard Services Management:
• Provide technical leadership for the operation and maintenance of civil infrastructure assets, including:
o Road networks (asphalt, pavement systems, drainage)
o Bridges and structural assets
o Street lighting systems (poles, fixtures, cabling, control panels)
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure asset reliability, safety, and long-term performance.
• Establish and enforce maintenance standards aligned with the best international practices and local regulations.
• Identify critical infrastructure and establish contingency and emergency response plans.
2. Roads, Bridges & Street Lighting Oversight
• Oversee road construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance programs including resurfacing and condition improvement.
• Ensure bridge inspection, structural integrity assessments, and preventive maintenance programs are implemented.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and maintenance of street lighting systems, including energy-efficient solutions (e.g., LED, smart controls).
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Highway Design Standards, MOT specifications, and Saudi Building Code (SBC).
3. Asset Condition Survey and Management:
• Assist the SME in conducting Asset Condition Surveys, including pre-assessment planning, survey plans, and access plans.
• Oversee asset tagging using RFID, barcode, or QR code systems to ensure accurate identification and tracking.
• Develop and maintain an Asset Database and Registry, capturing all asset details, including location and condition.
• Conduct facility and asset assessments to support the Asset Management Plan.
4. Maintenance and Lifecycle Planning:
• Ensure a full Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) regime is in place, introducing alternative approaches such as Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Business-Focused Maintenance (BFM).
• Develop and maintain a Forward Maintenance Register and Lifecycle Plans, including sinking fund requirements.
• Manage and oversee minor projects and new works related to hard services.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
• Identify and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, codes, and standards.
• Develop and implement robust systems to identify and manage risks associated with hard services operations.
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely and in compliance with RCU, city, and municipality regulations.
