CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, maintain and repair split HVAC units and their respective parts, such as Compressors, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fans, Belts, Filters, thermostats, Switches (i.e., Automatic, Log), Motors, Louvers, Relays, Controls, Heat Exchangers, Controls (i.e., High-Limit, Fan, Pressure), Fuses, Filters, Bearings, Valves, Gaskets, Thermostats, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems.
• Clean and adjust HVAC systems on a preventative and corrective basis
• Refill freon gas when required; detect and repair freon gas leaks upon occurrence
• Use of spare parts and tools responsibly.
• Work closely with the Appliances Technician in maintaining and repairing Refrigerators, Freezers, Coolers, Cold and Freezer Rooms, and Hood Extractors.
• Handle equipment, tools and spare parts carefully and responsibly
• Adhere to the highest standard of safety when conducting maintenance and repair activities; report incidents and/or accidents in the workplace upon occurrence
• Oversee work being carried out on the compound by third-party contractors
• Keep logs of daily maintenance activities and prepare reports as required.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as required by the company
