Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Real Estate AP/AR Accountant to manage the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions for our real estate portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely collections and vendor payments, supporting financial reporting, and working closely with the Property Manager to enhance the financial performance of assigned properties.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions for tenants and vendors.
Prepare, review, and process tenant invoices, rental charges, and vendor invoices.
Record, allocate, and reconcile tenant payments accurately.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and coordinate collection activities.
Process vendor payments in accordance with company policies and payment schedules.
Reconcile tenant ledgers, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Support budgeting, variance analysis, and property profitability reporting.
Maintain accurate financial records within the accounting and property management systems.
Prepare financial reports and aging schedules as required.
Coordinate closely with the Property Manager to ensure accurate financial data and timely reporting.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accounting.
Experience in the real estate or property management industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and internal financial controls.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/property management software.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Eligibility & Employment Terms
Maximum age: 35 years
Transferable Iqama with a minimum validity of 3 months
Probation period: 3 months
Immediate joining is preferred.
