SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
📍 Location: Saudi Arabia
💼 Experience: 5–7 Years

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to oversee the full accounting function for multiple entities and projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Saudi regulations, supporting financial reporting, managing project accounting, and coordinating with auditors and stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Accounting

Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and month-end close.
Ensure accurate recording of transactions in SAP and maintain proper supporting documentation.

Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and variance analysis.
Analyze financial data and highlight key business risks and opportunities.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Review supplier invoices and process payments.
Monitor customer collections and aging reports.
Maintain accurate vendor and customer reconciliations and coordinate with related teams.

Project Accounting

Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability.
Record project-related expenses and allocations.
Prepare project financial reports and cost analysis.
Ensure proper accounting treatment of capital and operating expenditures.

Tax & Statutory Compliance

Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Ensure compliance with ZATCA (e-Invoicing), withholding tax, and statutory requirements.
Support Zakat and other regulatory filings.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and company accounting policies.

Audit, SAP & Coordination

Coordinate with internal and external auditors and prepare audit schedules.
Perform daily SAP entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Liaise with banks, auditors, authorities, consultants, and internal departments.
Support finance projects and process improvements.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification preferred (SOCPA, ACCA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent).
5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in manufacturing and project accounting is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, ZATCA regulations, and financial reporting.
Hands-on experience with SAP ERP (FI/CO).
Proven ability to manage accounting for multiple entities.
