Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer – Testing & Quality to ensure the reliability, safety, and compliance of control panels and switchgear assemblies.
Perform routine testing and inspection of control panels and switchgear systems.
Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, functional, and high-voltage (HV) tests as per approved drawings and standards.
Verify wiring, component ratings, and overall assembly quality against engineering documents.
Ensure compliance with IEC standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements.
Prepare and maintain detailed test reports, inspection records, and quality documentation.
Monitor calibration and proper usage of testing instruments and equipment.
Identify non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and customer inspection activities.
Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
Assist in implementation of SOPs, quality procedures, and safety guidelines.
Participate in internal and external quality audits.
Drive continuous improvement in testing methods, processes, and product quality.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in testing and quality of control panels/switchgear (fresh engineers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered).
Strong understanding of electrical testing methods (continuity, insulation resistance, HV testing, functional testing).
Knowledge of IEC standards and switchgear/control panel manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with testing instruments and calibration procedures.
Experience in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and quality inspection procedures.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good coordination and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Knowledge of QA/QC processes, CAPA, and documentation control.
