Key Responsibilities
Review Material Requisitions (MR), Purchase Orders (PO), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE), and procurement specifications.
Ensure procurement activities comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Saudi Aramco Material System Specifications (SAMSS), SATIP, SAEP, and project specifications.
Review and approve Vendor Quality Plans (QCP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Manufacturing Procedures, and Inspection Assignment Packages (IAP).
Coordinate Third-Party Inspection (TPI) assignments and obtain Saudi Aramco inspection approvals where applicable.
Conduct pre-inspection meetings with vendors, inspectors, and clients.
Coordinate source inspections, shop inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), witness inspections, and final release inspections.
Verify material certificates, Mill Test Certificates (MTC), calibration certificates, welding documentation, and quality records.
Review vendor documents and manufacturing data books for compliance.
Ensure complete material traceability throughout procurement and delivery.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct vendor quality audits.
Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions.
Liaise with Saudi Aramco Vendor Inspection Department (VID), clients, suppliers, and inspection agencies.
Prepare procurement quality reports, inspection status reports, and monthly quality performance reports.
Maintain procurement quality records in accordance with project quality requirements.
Support project teams in resolving procurement-related quality issues.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements and Saudi Aramco procurement quality procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
Saudi Aramco Approved Procurement Quality Control Supervisor (PQCS) certification (Mandatory).
ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certification (Preferred).
