Job Description – SS Multi Welder (TIG & ARC)

Job Summary:
The SS Multi Welder is responsible for welding stainless steel piping and structural components using TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) welding processes. The candidate must be able to produce high-quality welds in accordance with project specifications, welding procedures (WPS), and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform stainless steel welding using TIG (GTAW) and ARC (SMAW) processes.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
Prepare, fit, and weld stainless steel pipes and fittings.
Ensure weld quality meets project specifications and applicable codes.
Carry out root pass, fill pass, and cap welding with proper techniques.
Inspect completed welds for defects and perform repairs when required.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper handling of tools.
Follow all company and client safety regulations and use required PPE.
Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and QC inspectors during fabrication and installation.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an SS TIG & ARC Multi Welder in industrial projects.
Ability to weld stainless steel pipes in various positions (2G, 5G, 6G preferred).
Knowledge of WPS, PQR, and welding standards.
Ability to read fabrication and piping drawings.
Valid welding qualification or trade certificate (preferred).
Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial projects is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to work in demanding site conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
Valid welding performance qualification (WQT) or equivalent.
Experience with Aramco, SABIC, or other major industrial projects.
Familiarity with safety procedures and quality requirements.
