ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer specializing in AutoCAD and structural steel design. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Utilize AutoCAD to create, modify, and finalize precise, high-quality architectural plans and structural fabrication drawings. - Design, analyze, and detail structural steel components and frameworks to ensure safety, compliance, and aesthetic integration. - Perform load calculations and verify structural integrity against local building codes. - Collaborate closely with project managers, fabricators, and on-site engineering teams to resolve drafting or structural issues. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS - Proven professional experience as an Architectural Engineer or Structural Engineer. - Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD (additional tools like Revit or Tekla are highly valued). - A strong portfolio or history of work showing successful structural steel designs. - Solid understanding of load calculations, material specifications, and structural execution. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
