Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation of all electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, power outlets, conduits, cable trays, lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment to identify and resolve faults.
Install and terminate electrical power and control cables.
Replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, light fixtures, ballasts, and electrical panels.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Perform routine inspections of electrical panels, transformers, distribution boards, and electrical equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults in power distribution, lighting systems, motors, contactors, relays, and control circuits.
Conduct insulation resistance and earth continuity tests.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of MDB, SMDB, and DB systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records.
Respond promptly to emergency electrical breakdowns and power failures.
Support general maintenance duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electrical Systems, or a related field.
Valid electrician license or relevant certification is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of electrical maintenance experience.
Experience in commercial, institutional, or school facilities is an advantage.
Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and power distribution.
Ability to read electrical blueprints and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience with motor control and electrical fault finding.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency maintenance situations.
