Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Maintenance Technician to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and ensuring all plumbing fixtures and equipment operate safely and efficiently within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, pipes, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, toilets, urinals, washbasins, sinks, and drinking water machines.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing equipment.
Inspect plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues before they become major problems.
Troubleshoot leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and damaged piping.
Repair or replace valves, faucets, water heaters, pumps, and sanitary fixtures.
Carry out pipe fitting, threading, soldering, welding, and installation of PPR, PVC, UPVC, and HDPE piping.
Clear blocked drains, sewer lines, and wastewater systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Ensure all work complies with plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing repairs.
Support general maintenance activities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications
Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational Training in Plumbing or a related field.
Certified plumbing apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
Valid plumbing license or relevant certification is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of plumbing maintenance experience.
Experience in commercial, institutional, or school facilities is preferred.
Skills
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply, and drainage.
Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety standards.
Ability to use plumbing hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.
Willingness to work in outdoor conditions during summer and winter.
