Restaurant Manager
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in restaurant, café, canteen, or food service management.
Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and safety standards, managing staff, controlling costs, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
Supervise and lead restaurant staff, including cashiers, servers, and kitchen personnel.
Ensure high standards of customer service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements.
Control food costs, wastage, and operational expenses.
Ensure accurate cash handling, POS reconciliation, and daily sales reporting.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
Train and develop staff according to company policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety requirements.
Coordinate maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant facilities and equipment.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of POS systems and cash management.
Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
