Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Executive with proven Saudi Aramco project experience or Saudi Aramco certification to manage the end-to-end procurement process for EPC and Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Saudi Aramco procurement procedures, material approval systems, vendor qualification processes, and international sourcing. The candidate will ensure timely procurement of quality materials while maintaining full compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
Manage the complete procurement cycle from material requisition to purchase order closure.
Source and evaluate local and international suppliers for project requirements.
Identify cost-effective procurement strategies while ensuring quality and delivery commitments.
Develop and maintain an approved vendor database in accordance with Saudi Aramco requirements.
Conduct supplier pre-qualification and technical-commercial evaluations.
Saudi Aramco Compliance
Ensure procurement activities comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Saudi Aramco Material System Specifications (SAMSS), MSAER, SATIP, and other applicable Aramco standards.
Verify vendor documentation, material certificates, inspection reports, and technical approvals.
Coordinate with engineering teams for Vendor Document Review (VDR) and material approval submissions.
Technical Procurement
Review Material Requisitions (MR), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), RFQs, technical specifications, datasheets, and engineering drawings.
Prepare RFQs and obtain competitive quotations.
Perform commercial and technical bid evaluations.
Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and project teams during procurement.
Vendor & Contract Management
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and contractual conditions.
Establish long-term relationships with approved suppliers and manufacturers.
Monitor supplier performance through quality, delivery, and service evaluations.
Resolve supplier non-conformance issues and coordinate corrective actions.
Logistics & Expediting
Monitor manufacturing progress and expedite critical materials.
Coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs clearance teams.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Track shipments and proactively mitigate procurement risks.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, supplier correspondence, and procurement reports.
Prepare procurement status reports for management and project teams.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in:
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Civil Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Supply Chain Management (preferred with Oil & Gas experience)
Experience
5–10+ years of procurement experience in:
Oil & Gas
EPC Companies
Petrochemical Plants
Industrial Construction Projects
Mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience.
Candidates with Saudi Aramco certification will be given preference.
