Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electric Technician to diagnose, repair, service, and maintain commercial and industrial cleaning equipment, including scrubber dryers, sweepers, ride-on scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and other floor care machines. The ideal candidate should have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a good understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in commercial and industrial cleaning machines.
* Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing of cleaning equipment.
* Troubleshoot motors, controllers, wiring, batteries, chargers, sensors, switches, and electronic components.
* Repair and replace damaged electrical components, cables, relays, circuit boards, and control systems.
* Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
* Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and service documentation.
* Install and commission new cleaning machines at customer locations.
* Carry out on-site service visits and emergency breakdown repairs.
* Maintain accurate service reports and records of repairs, spare parts, and maintenance activities.
* Ensure all work is completed according to company procedures and workplace safety regulations.
* Coordinate with the spare parts department to identify and order required components.
* Provide basic operational guidance to customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Required Qualifications

* Diploma, DAE, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
* 2–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining commercial or industrial cleaning equipment (preferred).
* Experience with scrubber dryers, sweepers, floor polishers, industrial vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, or similar machinery is an advantage.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, DC and AC motors, battery-powered equipment, chargers, and control circuits.
* Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
* Basic mechanical repair skills, including bearings, belts, pumps, wheels, and drive systems.
* Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
* Valid driving license is preferred.
* Willingness to travel for on-site customer service when required.

Working Conditions

* Workshop and field service work.
* Travel to customer sites for installation and repairs.
* May require lifting equipment and working in industrial or commercial facilities.
* Occasional overtime or emergency service calls may be required.
