Job Summary
The ERP Implementation IT Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and delivering ERP implementation projects across the organization. This role works closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure the ERP system meets operational requirements and is implemented on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end implementation of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Oracle, or similar).
Gather business requirements from departments including Procurement, Finance, Sales, HR, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Supply Chain.
Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with ERP vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the implementation.
Configure ERP modules and ensure they align with business processes and best practices.
Oversee data migration, system integration, testing, and validation.
Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve implementation issues.
Develop implementation documentation, SOPs, and user manuals.
Plan and deliver user training sessions to ensure successful system adoption.
Monitor project risks, dependencies, and change requests, implementing mitigation plans where necessary.
Ensure ERP security, user access controls, backups, and system performance.
Coordinate post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvements.
Lead and mentor the IT and ERP support team.
Ensure compliance with company policies, cybersecurity standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
5–8 years of experience in ERP implementation and IT project management.
Minimum 3 years of experience leading ERP implementation projects in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle ERP, Odoo, or Infor.
Experience with manufacturing, inventory, procurement, finance, HR, sales, and warehouse modules.
Strong understanding of business process mapping and workflow optimization.
Experience with SQL, databases, system integrations, and API connectivity.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
Strong project management, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Preferred
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification.
ERP implementation certifications (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), barcode/RFID solutions, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Familiarity with Saudi regulatory requirements, including ZATCA e-invoicing integration, is an advantage.
Proficiency in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
