Preventive Maintenance
The contractor’s manpower shall perform PM activities including:
Inspection, testing, and servicing of electrical equipment as per maintenance schedules.
Cleaning, tightening, and lubrication of electrical components.
Performing insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and functional checks.
Maintenance of Motors, UPS, lighting systems, distribution boards, and control panels.
Updating maintenance logs and reporting abnormalities.
Corrective Maintenance
The contractor’s manpower shall respond to electrical faults and perform:
Troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults in equipment and systems.
Replacement of defective components such as breakers, fuses, contactors, relays, Power supply sockets, switches, isolators, and internal wiring systems.
Restoration of power supply and equipment functionality.
Emergency response to breakdowns.
Cable fault identification and rectification.
Motor troubleshooting (overheating, tripping, vibration).
Periodic inspection of lighting systems (indoor, outdoor, street lighting) and correction/replacement of those found defective.
Electrical Equipment Handling
Carry out maintenance and repair work along Masa maintenance personnel for the followings.
Maintenance of switchgear, transformers, motor and Pumps, MCCs, VFDs, ATS, UPS systems, Battery bank, Circuit breakers (ACB, MCCB, MCB), Transformer and generators.
Cable termination, glanding, and jointing.
Testing and calibration of protective relays and metering devices.
Lighting systems (indoor, outdoor, street lighting)
Motor starters (VFD, soft starters, star–delta, DOL)
Control panels and PLC systems
Power supply sockets, switches, isolators, and internal wiring systems.
Testing of earthing/grounding systems.
Monitor equipment performance and take action to prevent breakdowns.
Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults in pumps, motors, cables, and control systems in coordination with the Foreman.
Coordinate with mechanical teams when pump or motor issues arise.

Disconnect and reconnect cables for testing of existing LV systems.
Support Activities
Assisting technicians during shutdowns outages, and major overhauls of electrical systems.
Participation in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions.
Maintaining housekeeping in work areas.
Provide accomplishment report based on maintenance notification in SAP.
Respond to power failures or electrical breakdowns after normal working hours as part of the on-call support arrangement.
Perform emergency repair activities outside duty hours whenever required to restore equipment and system functionality.
