POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are recruiting an experienced Mechanical QAQC Inspector specializing in Structural Steel fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assurance and quality control of structural steel components and assemblies throughout the manufacturing and inspection phases.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct comprehensive Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspections on structural steel fabrication per ASME, AWS, and client specifications
• Verify compliance with approved engineering drawings, Material Test Reports (MTRs), and project quality plans
• Perform dimensional inspections, surface preparation evaluation, and coating application verification
• Conduct witness and hold-point inspections during critical manufacturing stages
• Document all inspection activities and maintain detailed QC records and reports
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to resolve non-conformances
• Prepare inspection certificates, test reports, and quality documentation
• Conduct material certifications and traceability verification
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and Saudi Aramco specifications
• Support site inspections and expediting activities as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 7 years of hands-on QAQC experience in structural steel fabrication
• Proven experience with Saudi Aramco project deliverables and quality standards
• ASME/AWS welding inspection certifications (WI, CWI, or equivalent)
• Proficiency in dimensional inspection and NDT procedures
• Strong knowledge of metallurgy, material specifications, and testing standards
• Excellent documentation and report writing skills
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification
• ISO 9001/45001 system knowledge
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP)
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar project management tools
