We’re Hiring Overseas Purchaser

Pasta Express Group is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Overseas Purchaser to manage international sourcing, supplier negotiations, and overseas procurement activities.

Key Requirements:

✅ Minimum 3–5 years of experience in overseas purchasing, international procurement, sourcing, or sales.
✅ Proven experience in both Sales and Purchasing within the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector is mandatory.
✅ Candidates currently based in Bahrain are strongly preferred.
✅ Strong knowledge of the Bahrain market, import regulations, customs procedures, shipping documentation, and clearance requirements.
✅ Strong experience in sourcing food products, beverages, ingredients, packaging materials, and restaurant supplies.
✅ Proven ability to negotiate prices, contracts, credit terms, shipping costs, and delivery schedules.
✅ Good understanding of international logistics, Incoterms, freight, lead times, and landed-cost calculations.
✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier relationship-management skills.
✅ Excellent command of English; Arabic will be an advantage.
✅ Immediate availability is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Source and evaluate qualified overseas F&B suppliers.
Purchase food products, beverages, ingredients, packaging, and restaurant supplies.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, quality standards, and delivery conditions.
Manage international purchase orders from quotation until final delivery.
Review shipping, customs, and import documents to ensure compliance with Bahrain regulations.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, clearing agents, Finance, Warehouse, and Operations.
Monitor shipments and resolve delays, shortages, quality issues, and supplier disputes.
Analyse landed costs and identify opportunities to reduce purchasing and logistics expenses.
Use sales experience and market knowledge to select commercially viable and in-demand products.
Maintain supplier records, quotations, contracts, and purchasing reports.
