Key Roles & Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs.
Request and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and tender pricing.
Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in preparing tender submissions and commercial proposals.
Coordinate with engineers, procurement, and project teams.
Ensure estimates comply with client requirements and company standards.
Maintain cost databases and historical pricing records.
Required Skills
Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
Proficiency in estimating software and Excel.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Understanding of contracts and tender procedures.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
