Hiring Electrical Engineer for KSA

Department : Projects / MEP
Reports To : Project Manager / Operations Manager

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Supervision
* Supervise and monitor all electrical installation works at project sites.
* Ensure electrical works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
* Coordinate daily activities with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and project management.
* Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within approved schedules.
* Attend site meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
* Ensure proper deployment of manpower, materials and equipment.

Technical Responsibilities
* Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams load schedules, specifications, and BOQs.
* Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements and material submittals.
* Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical and architectural disciplines.
* Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes and standards.
* Assist in design review and value engineering initiatives where required.

Installation & Construction Management
* Supervise installation of electrical systems including:
*Power Distribution Systems
* Cable Trays and Trunking
* Lighting Systems
* Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems
* Power Cabling Works
* MDB, SMDB, DB and Control Panels
* Generators and UPS Systems
* Low Current Systems
* Fire Alarm Systems
* CCTV Systems
* Access Control Systems
* Data and Communication Networks
* Verify installation quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings.

Material & Procurement Coordination
* Prepare material requests and procurement requirements.
* Review technical specifications of electrical materials and equipment.
* Coordinate with Procurement Department for material sourcing and approvals.
* Verify delivered materials and ensure compliance with approved specifications.
* Monitor material consumption and site stock requirements.

Quality Assurance & Quality Control
* Ensure all electrical works comply with approved quality standards and project specifications.
* Conduct inspections and testing of completed installations.
* Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspections and approvals.
* Prepare and maintain quality records and inspection reports.
* Ensure proper corrective actions are implemented for non-conformities.

Testing & Commissioning
* Supervise testing and commissioning activities of electrical systems.
* Coordinate with consultants, clients and authorities during inspections.
* Prepare testing procedures and commissioning reports.
* Ensure all systems are operational prior to project handover.
* Support project closeout and snag rectification activities.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance
* Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and site safety regulations.
* Conduct electrical safety inspections and risk assessments.
* Ensure safe work practices are followed by site personnel.
* Report and investigate electrical incidents and unsafe conditions.
* Promote safety awareness among project teams.

Documentation & Reporting
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
* Maintain records of site activities, inspections, testing and material usage.
* Update project documentation and as-built drawings.
* Submit progress updates to Project Manager and management.
* Maintain proper filing of all technical documents and correspondence.

Client & Consultant Coordination
* Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and authorities regarding electrical works.
* Attend progress meetings and technical discussions.
* Resolve site-related technical issues promptly.
* Ensure client requirements are properly implemented.

Qualification Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Diploma.
* Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration preferred or need to register..
* Minimum 3–10 years of experience in construction and MEP projects.
* GCC experience, preferably Saudi Arabia, will be an added advantage.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods and construction practices.
* Familiarity with IEC, NEC, SASO, SEC and other applicable standards.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and electrical design software.
* Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities.
